The Transportation Secretary will meet a Hull MP to discuss the much-delayed Castle Street improvements - but just after the minister was informed off in Parliament.Secretary of State Chris Grayling accepted the conference after a spat in the House of Commons saw the Cabinet minister identified discourteous for originally snubbing city MP Emma Hardy. The Labour MP for Hull West and Hessle composed to the Transport Secretary requesting a meeting about the A63 modifications in July, yet it took his junior minister more than 2 months to inform her that neither Mr Grayling, nor any of his 4 servant officials in the Department for Transport (DfT), were available.Ms Hardy informed John Bercow, the Commons 'Speaker, the snub was a"enormous discourtesy and a huge insult"to the city, which had seen the Castle Street task" repeatedly postponed ".
