FREDDIE WOODMAN 7 Didn’t have a save to make in the opening half and did fairly well after the restart. Not much he could do about the goal. JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 7 Made plenty of clearances and impressed in the opening half. A slight wobble after the restart but ended strongly. RYAN BENNETT 9 On his return from injury, Bennett commanded things at the back and made stacks of clearances to ensure Woodman had a comfortable afternoon. Two great blocks after the restart as Forest pushed. Colossus of a man. MARC GUEHI 8 Made a few clearances and looked typically comfortable in possession too. Could have conceded a penalty before Anthony Knockaert’s goal and was subbed late on. CONNOR ROBERTS 8 Had a really enjoyable afternoon and was unfortunate not to get himself a goal before half-time. Taken off late on as Swansea saw out the game. CONOR HOURIHANE 8 Quality from set-pieces was hugely impressive, and the Aston Villa man wasted no time in showing how good an acquisition he is. MATT GRIMES 9 In a deep-lying midfield role, Grimes gave the back three plenty of cover and made it 2-0 with a stunning strike from distance. Cool from the penalty spot too before being subbed. Wonderful display. RYAN MANNING 8 Offered a real threat on the left flank and made plenty of interceptions when it came to defending. Made a string of vital tackles and blocks in the second half too. Great assist for Cullen’s second. A really good shift. YAN DHANDA 8 Had some really good flashes in the final third in truth. The others took the limelight, but he can be happy with his efforts. LIAM CULLEN – Star Man 9 Coolly volleyed home his first goal of the campaign to put Swansea ahead and took his second goal well too. A fine performance before being withdrawn through injury. Here’s hoping it’s not too serious. WAYNE ROUTLEDGE 6 A wonderful cross that led to Swansea’s opener, but he was forced off through injury not too long after. Jamal Lowe (for Routledge) – Spurned a fine chance moments after coming on, but complimented Swansea’s attacking options well. 6 Ollie Cooper (for Hourihane) – First senior goal for Swansea to cap off a fine win! 7 Jay Fulton (for Grimes) – Helped to see out the game. 6 Jake Bidwell (for Guehi) – As above. 6 Jordon Garrick (for Roberts) – Good work at both ends of the pitch as Swansea saw out the game. 6 from https://taxi.nearme.host/the-stunning-swansea-city-player-ratings-as-duo-dazzle-bennett-looks-unbeatable-and-aston-villa-loan-man-oozes-class-in-nottingham-forest-win-wales-online/
